Torture

How much more evidence do you need? How many more sickening photos, videos [Original Mirror], and accounts?

I for one am not shocked.

I remember the blood-drenched history of the United States government. I remember the “discussions” on The O’Reilly Factor on the “necessity” of torturing suspects in terrorism cases. I remember the fact that the U.S. committed genocide against the Native Americans. I remember the fact that to “control” African slaves, the slave-traders used to hang a pregnant woman by her feet and cut open her belly in front of the other slaves—leaving both the mother and child to die. I also remember that Wall Street was a slave-auction when George Washington was sworn in (“stock” exchange). I remember that thousands of Filipino villagers were slaughtered by the U.S. military during the Spanish-American War (the fact that these villagers often got high on a combination of methamphetamines before going into battle is what prompted the development of the 1911 Colt .45). I remember Ludlow, where Federal Troops killed a dozen striking workers. I remember Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Dresden. I remember the fact that the death squads of Central and South America were trained in Georgia. I remember that somewhere between 500,000 and 4,500,000 people were killed by the U.S. military in Vietnam. I remember that between 500,000 and 1,500,000 people were killed in Iraq as a result of the sanctions. I remember all these attrocities, and I remember that they were committed under the Stars and Stripes.

How many more times must this littany be repeated before new items cease being added?
