Kicked out another FUSA release today; it’s definitely on the road to sucking less.
Thought some about monocultures, and whether or not applying biological science to society and culture is a good idea, which led me to thinking about evolutionary psychology. Specifically, I think I’ve gotten a grasp on the basic premise, which managed to get either miscommunicated or misunderstood in my “Psychology 101: We Need Test Animals” class. At the very least, I understand how it makes sense outside of the oh-so-familiar [ugh] “paradigm” of bigots claiming science provides an excuse for their bigotry. Now I just need to actually see whether I’ve understood it or not before recording my take.
Now if only I could bring myself to do the brainwork for the classes I’m in right now… 🙂
