I’ve gotten settled into my new place, which is OK. It’s not great, there’s a pretty severe ant infestation, it’s expensive (for my budget, anyways), and there aren’t a whole lot of tech jobs in the bikable area — those that do exist are pretty well hidden and/or pay absolute crap. It was also rediculously hot (as in, like, 100 degrees) in the apartment for the first week as well.

So far I’ve got a couple interviews lined up for early next week, one is for a web/linux/etc. gig, the other is driving a forklift — so guess which one I’d prefer.
